Wayne Watson
Wayne is a Canadian from Calgary who has spent 25 years skiing off-piste in Val d'Isere. Besides loving backcountry skiing, Wayne also has a passion for technique. He also enjoys writing and has had articles published for various magazines as well as the book 'Off-piste with Wayne Watson'.

TJ Baird
TJ is a Scotsman who has worked in Val d'Isere for over 30 years. Being the senior member of the team, TJ is the most experienced with an excellent knowledge of the domain. He also understands the snowpack and what areas are safe to ski and when.

Jean Christophe Souillac (Chris)
Chris is French/Australian and has skied in Val d'Isere since the 1960's when he was racing. Chris spends our summers in Thredbo, Australia working their winters as well. He is a keen photographer with three ski books to his credit.

Suzanne Souillac
After many years of great service to us Suzanne has given up her duties in the shop and we will have a new secretary this season. Thanks Suzanne and you will be missed.
Andreas Bjorklund
Andreas, from Sweden, is the newest and youngest member of the 'Alpine' team, and has been in Val d'Isere for many years now. He has a keen interest in snow science and has been assisting Henry with the Avalanche Presentations. Andreas enjoys his sports, including fishing and golf.

Jean Marc Pic
Jean Marc is a Frenchman from the Pyrennees and one of the most respected Mountain guides in France. He has skied in Val d'Isere for 25 years and is an avid tourer. Jean Marc is also available for climbing, trekking, and canyoning in the summer.

Olivier Carrere
Olivier is also French and a neighbour of Jean Marc in the Pyrennees. A UIAGM guide, Olivier has a passion for his work and a permanent smile. He loves touring and works teaching children to climb in the summer. Available in the summer for climbing, trekking, and canyoning.

Pietro Barigazzi
Pietro is an Italian UIAGM guide who rounds off Alpine Experience's international flavour. Pietro has an infectious sense of humour and is also a keen tourer. He spends his summers in Italy and is available for climbing, trekking, and canyoning.

Henry Schniewind
Henry was guiding off-piste in Val d’Isere from 1992 until 97, when he decided it was time to get himself a real job. After spending time in Grenoble at business school Henry worked for a few years until the mountains beckoned him to come back to the ‘real’ world, and he is now back full-time in Val d'Isere. Henry also has a degree in Snow Science and does regular avalanche presentations in Val d’ Isere. Personal contact address: HAT
