Access via airports
Val
d'Isère has access from a number of major airports, including Geneva,
Lyon ( Satolas) and Chambery regional airport with a regular bus service
completing your voyage.
It can boast a high speed rail link from England as well as an overnight
sleeper service arriving at the railhead at Bourg St. Maurice, a short
25 minutes bus or taxi ride from the centre of town.
Us
and the shop
You will find us at Jean Sports sports shop, on the main street of Val
d'Isère, 100m past the Tourist Office, on the opposite side of
the road.
Alpine Experience ascribes a large part of their success to their association
with Jean Sports. Established 27 years ago by Jean and Nicole Ughetto,
it was the recognised centre for ski mountaineering equipment and for
all the requirements of serious skiers, and has continued this tradition
ever since.
Their
friendly and relaxed manner belies their total commitment and professionalism
to their trade. We benefit greatly from their quality ski equipment
and expertise on offer. With state-of -the-art equipment, the standard
of ski repair and preparation are without equal. This same attention
to detail is evident in the quality of all their rental equipment
