Fingers crossed!

02 June 2017

The summer is rolling along nicely except for a few injury problems within the family. Gill is having serious problems with her wrist that is making work difficult and tennis a ‘no-go’, Katie is also having a wrist problem, which is affecting her gymnastics’, and my hip is showing signs of deterioration, which isn’t a surprise as my right hip has given me 21-years more than my left one did. (Fingers crossed on that as I need to get through next winter and hopefully it will respond to stretching!) Fortunately Millie is fit and working out regularly as well as playing lots of golf.

Millie and I are playing in a Mixed Pairs Better-ball Stableford competition tomorrow and we’re looking forward to that, and Millie played nine-holes with David Howell last Tuesday as he came to support Millie’s Surrey County Girls Golf day at Foxhills. She said he was a really nice guy and she enjoyed the experience. Katie seems to have totally lost interest in her horse riding and is totally focused on gymnastics.

Stay tuned for more news and keep those bookings rolling in, and have a great summer!
