The planning is up and running

02 September 2009

I hope you’ve all had a great summer and I’m sure you’re now starting to think about skiing again. The planning is up and running so don’t hesitate if you already know your dates.

Our new website should be up and running in the next week or so, so please stay tuned for the launch. It may take awhile to sort out any hitches so please feel free if you have any constructive criticism, as your input is always valued.

Chris and Suzanne have bought a Gite in Normandy and will be running it when not in Val d’Isere. The contrasting seasons couldn’t be better, it’s fantastic news and they are both very excited about the property and the project.

Pietro is having a season away due to family commitments but may do the odd week privately while TJ is planning on being back for roughly four weeks, dates to be confirmed. Good luck in Italy Pietro and we look forward to seeing TJ soon.

Jean Marc and Olivier a gearing up for a trip to Chile this month so good luck to them and all who travel with them. The rest of the team are fine and we’re all starting to look forward to another winter!

Sports Report- Andreas didn’t get the chance to play much golf this summer due to his new building business, but that didn’t stop him setting the course record last week. He shot five-under-par during a competition, and said, “It was the greatest sporting achievement of my life, I’m still on fire”. Well done Andreas, stunning performance!

I played a couple of days after receiving Andreas’ news and on the second hole scored a hole-in-one on the 167-yard par-three. Unfortunately the sun was in my eyes and I had no idea where my ball was so I missed watching it roll toward the hole and all the anticipation that would have gone with it. Still, it was a lovely surprise to find my ball in the hole and not in the bunkers at the back of the green!
