TJ and the Blue Jays!!!!!

TJ has booked his flights and will be in town ready for action starting Monday, January 11th. He’ll be skiing for three weeks so if you’d like to ski with him let me know so I can book you in, and get your flights booked!

We’re off tomorrow for our trip to India so I won’t be able to answer emails until my return on November 1st.

And what a night for the Blue Jays, who came from two games down in the best-of-five series to force Game Five, and then came back from being down 3-2 in the decider to score 4 runs with two outs in the 7th inning of the final game against Texas last night to advance to the American League Final (best-of-seven series) against the Kanas City Royals!!!!!!! Absolutely brilliant and Canadian sports fans everywhere are seriously rocking at the moment!

Just under two weeks to go!

What a stunning period of weather we’ve all enjoyed and the Watson’s have been busy taking full advantage with golf, tennis and horse-back riding. I’ve had a really good patch over the past month after playing some pretty average golf for most of the summer, so I’m quite satisfied at the moment, while Millie is playing in competitions regularly (in fact she has one today at West Byfleet) and her handicap is coming down just about every time she plays. Meanwhile, Gill is playing tennis a couple of times a week and Katie is enjoying her riding lessons and Pony Club events.

We’re getting excited now as we leave for our trip to India in just under two weeks, and it should be an experience that the girls will never forget at such impressionable ages. Thanks to Mary Anne from Mahout for organising our trip! (Check out her website at www.mahoutuk.com)

Peter B reports that the season tickets are now on sale on the Val d’Isere website and you should get on the case if you’d like some sort of discount.

Speaking of Peter, commiserations to all you England rugby fans! I guess it’s time to get behind the Scots, Welsh and the Irish, or maybe even the French!
