4 August 2018
I will be able to process bookings at the end of the month.

I can’t believe it’s August already and the summer is just flying by. We’re off on August 11th for a 19-day family holiday in Canada and we’re all very excited. We are flying into Vancouver to stay with my great friend Lisa (who was behind my first trip to Val d ‘Isere) before heading on to stay with Tony in Whistler for a few days. (Tony spent my first winter in Val d’Isere with me and grew up in Calgary) Then we are off to Clearwater to do some rafting and catch up with another old school friend Doug and his wife Jane before rolling into Jasper for Katie’s birthday. We’ll then make our way down through Lake Louise and Banff before spending a couple of days with Penny in Canmore, and then we’ll roll into Calgary to spend time with my Mom. All in all it will be a wonderful trip with some stunning new scenery for the girls.

Millie is playing golf every day at the moment and sometimes twice. She started the summer at 17.6 and played her way down to 15.9 until this past week where she has had three solid competitions in a row and is now off 12.4! She has the bit between the teeth now and is hoping to get down to single figures by the end of the summer and has a low round lurking. Hopefully it will come this Friday in the Bramley Junior Open. Come on Millie!

Katie is spending hours on her trampoline and has a couple of lovely young friends who enjoy the bouncing about and aerials almost as much as she does and it’s great for her to have some people to share her passion with. I try to watch her as much as I can but participating is unfortunately out of the question!

Enjoy this most wonderful summer and it won’t be long until another ski season starts to loom on the horizon. Stay tuned!
